He had some other convictions for minor offenses such as driving with a suspended license, using a slug in a parking meter, and being in possession of a crack pipe. So he might have seemed to fit a pattern of someone who commits robbery in their youth, and then graduates to the less-violent crime of burglary. Obviously not a model citizen by any means, and probably someone who should have been watched more closely, but not necessarily someone who would have been predicted to become violent. More facts on this are bound to come out, and I would probably reserve judgment on whether the parole system and criminal justice system dealt appropriately with this individual until we know all the facts. I still can&#39;t help but think that this lovely young lady would still be alive if the maggot that did this had stayed locked up. Doesn&#39;t Ca. have a 3 strikes law? I&#39;m sure this non-human thing had more than 3 felonies on his record. In my opinion the wrong person ended up dead.
